Our newest member to our fruit preserve lineup happens to also be the first in our newest category: Fruit Conserves. And what exactly is a conserve, you ask? Great question!! A fruit conserve is a fruit jam that contains nuts and/or dried fruit.
Our delicious apricot almond conserve starts with Fresno Valley apricots and almonds that have been gently chopped to granules that are throughout the delectable spread. To the mix, we add pure cane sugar, a little citrus pectin for added gelling and a generous splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a little zing to the flavor in this magically intoxicating combination.
A little tart with a little nutty and you've got a wonderfully textured jam just waiting to go on your next favorite whatever!
