Pinot Noir Grape Jam

Wine grapes don’t usually make their way to the farmers market—and finding a grower with extra Pinot Noir to spare? That’s even rarer. So when a winery partner in Healdsburg, CA offered us a share of their harvest, we didn’t hesitate: yes, please.

This jam has the sweet grape-forward flavor you might expect from a classic Concord jam, but with a twist—those Pinot Noir skins bring a touch of tannin that adds depth and a subtle, wine-like complexity. It’s jam for grown-ups (but still perfectly at home in a PB&J).

We cook the grapes down with pure cane sugar and just a bit of citrus pectin to set the texture and let the fruit shine. No wine in the jar—just all the flavor that made you fall in love with the grape in the first place.
