Poached pear dessert lovers rejoice!! Our delicious poached pear jam captures everything you love about the dessert in a jam with a spectacular red color that just looks great on just about everything. We start with fresh pears that were hand selected along with our favorite Cabernet Sauvignon wine and let the fruit soak in all the colors and flavors for at least 48 hours. Our recipe uses only pears, plenty of red wine to let you know its there, fresh squeezed lemon juice, a bit of citrus pectin to aid in gelling, a dash of a cinnamon-cardamom blend and pure cane sugar in this delightful combination that brings a unique flavor to just about anything.
