A few years ago, we had the opportunity to work as cranberry farmers for an afternoon and get in to a real cranberry bog to harvest cranberries. Among the unforgettable memories from that Cape Cod vacation, we discovered a half orange/half cranberry juice blend for breakfast that to this day hasn't made us look back to a plain glass of orange juice. It was only a matter of time before we created a way to spread cranberry orange on your favorite baked good to go with your tall cranberry orange juice.
Our delicious jam starts with Cape Cod cranberries paired with fresh squeezed Valencia orange juice. Blend that up with some pure cane sugar, a little citrus pectin for added gelling and a generous splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for a little zing to the flavor in this magically tart combination.
