Elderberry Jam

Elderberries have a long history in preserves, and we’re excited to feature the rich, bold flavor of European elderberries in this batch—grown by a small-scale farmer in Washington State who really knows their stuff.

This jam has a deep berry flavor, somewhere between blueberry and blackberry, with just a hint of that earthy complexity elderberries are known for. We keep it lightly seeded for a bit of texture, and the result is a jam that’s equally at home on toast, paired with cheese, or used as a glaze for pork or duck.

We start with fresh-picked berries from our grower partner in Washington, then cook them down with pure cane sugar, a touch of citrus pectin, and a bright note to round it all out. No health claims here—just a timeless fruit preserve made the old-fashioned way.
