Our delicious and chunky spiced pear vanilla jam invokes tastes associated with autumn with the spices and vanilla bean, yet is a wonderful treat all year round. For this product shot, we decided to make a pear jam grilled cheese on sourdough and the combination was delicious!!! I not only get to photograph all my own food shots, but I get to eat them as well!!
We start with fresh picked Bartlett pears that were hand selected and cleaned. Our recipe uses only fresh pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla bean, fresh squeezed lemon juice, a bit of citrus pectin to aid in gelling and pure cane sugar in this delightful combination that screams autumn harvest.
