Sweet Limes are thought to be a cross between a tart green lime and a sweet lemon. They start off green, however, lighten to a beautiful yellow lemon color when ripened. Although the lime flavor is unmistakable, their sweetness is always surprising and refreshing.
If you are a fan of traditional marmalades, we would say that this probably won't be the ticket for your taste. However, if you're willing to give it a try, you'll be in for a deliciously sweet lime flavor that still gives you that bit of tang in the peel!
We start with fresh picked sweet limes that were hand selected from trusted growers. Our recipe uses only sweet limes, pure cane sugar and a little citrus pectin to help in the gelling of this magical combination.
